Competition from other career avenues, such as banking, engineering, and computer programming, diminishes the pool of available Asians seeking jobs within law enforcement.” In response, NJAALEOA was born out of a labor of love. Bobby has recruited many, if not all of the current e-board and many of association members. And we can all attest to his political prowess and unorthodox measures of getting things done. More importantly, in his quest for make a difference in the community by bridging the gap, we have all found a home, a rewarding career, a place of refuge from discrimination, and forged lifelong friendships. To that end, I can think of no one more fitting of the spotlight, but Uncle Bobby. Now a days, Bobby, spends time with his wife, and two adult children in their Old Bridge home remaining highly active in both NJAALEOA, New Jersey Asian American Law Enforcement Foundation, NAPOA, and National Police Defense Foundation (NPDF). Despite his busy schedule, he always makes time for resume reviews, mock interviews or just time to chat.
